I am stupid crazy with schedules. I know, I know you thought I was laid back. Its one of my pet peeves with the kids. They seem to "do" better with schedules. If its time to get up and get ready lets do it. If we go out have to be back by 8pm to get the kids in bed.
Cameron was lollygagging around yesterday morning while I was trying to get her ready and I fussed at her to get it in gear. She closed her eyes so tight her nose crinkled up and she said pink windows, pink windows, pink windows. Of course I laughed out loud and asked her what in the world are you doing.
She said when she closes her eyes she sees pink windows and it makes her happy. So what did I do? I closed my eyes. I laughed because even though I wasn't looking at the window in the room I could still see the outline of it when I closed my eyes and if you look hard enough it is a pinkish reddish color. She found her happy place.
There are times in my life that are so stressful, sometimes things bother me that shouldn't and I still have not learned when to give up on some people that disappoint me over and over. The latter one is the worst. Maybe one day I will cope better with disappointment because I sure don't want to give up on them. I will start to look for the pink windows. Thank you Cameron. It might be a better world if we all look for them. Not while driving of course!
I couldn't find a song about pink windows but I found Pink! One of the lyrics is "Close your eyes and trust it." You may thank me for the jam...Until then.
Keep Rockin
