Got a lot on my mind here lately and it makes it hard to get everything done. I use to call my house and leave a message on the answering machine for myself or even send myself an email when there was something I needed to do and I didn't want to forget it. So I started making a list every morning of the things I need to do. I cross them off mentally when they are complete. I am scared if I mark through it I wont see what all I did accomplish for the day. What I didn't get done I try not to worry about and put on tomorrows list today. Emphasis on TRY! Make sense?
Yesterdays list:
Make a bank deposit
Edit one session
Clean out the inside of my truck
Watch American Pickers and Pawn Stars (yeah I got an addiction)
Print off the "stuff" for 09 taxes
Make a new guerilla art piece
Make a grocery list (ha-another list)
A little list for yesterday and I got it all done. Nothing to move on today's list. So I get to start fresh.
Lately I been thinking I need a wish list too. Things I wish I had or wish I could do to the house, paint the bedroom upstairs, make a shower cave in the master bath or simply find the time to clean all the baseboards and blinds. That last one is at the bottom of the list. Hang it on the fridge so it is a constant reminder or maybe show someone else in the house what I want to accomplish. Hint hint to the Hubby.
Then I have a photography wish list. Props I want, things I need, ideas that pop in my head, promotions I want to pass on to my clients. Fun fundraiser shoots and marketing ideas. Oh and I defiantly need to remember some of them. I get sidetracked very easily!
I need a closet list. Things that I need to complete an outfit. Like that black skirt I have hanging in the closet that is a size 6 and I need a size...well we wont talk about that. Anyway I need a new black skirt. And don't forget the red shoes, which I still haven't gotten by the way.
When I was in high school I use to have a dream list, that's a whole other post!
Oh yeah I have a bucket list too, which I will share with you. Maybe tomorrow.
I could have a book full of lists. I read somewhere it is like a mental cleanse to do this everyday. Make your list, cross it off, its ok if you don't get everything accomplished. Start on the easy stuff first.
I definitely need to start a me list too. Don't forget the Me list, your no good to anyone else if your not able to take time for yourself. Something I need to remind myself of constantly and always put at the bottom of my list. Today is Tuesday, I am starting a new list and I am putting me at the top. Start your own Tuesday list and put yourself at the top, its about time isn't it? ...Until then

Hands down You have more lists than me, but I can not survive without my lists. My family laughs but I can get it all done if it's on a list. HUM.....bucket list.....I should think about that one. Wonderful post. Thanks :) OH, and p.s. I always only write one line through my list so others (hubby) can know what it was I did! :)
