Welcome to my little corner! I am so thrilled you are here and hope to see you back. This blogsite is loaded with visual stimulation, new products, ideas and crazy stuff that runs across my mind. Also included will be many grammer mistakes and misspellings I am sure.

My name is Brandy. I will be your guide. I am also a people watcher, day dreamer, artist, flexitarian, guerilla artist, Sweet Potato Queen, music lover, member of the Metal Pounders Union, and photographer.

I absolutely love my job and the opportunities I have to meet the people that I do.

Where the Streets Have No Name

I never get to watch what I want at home. I believe I have seen or at least heard every single episode of Spongebob there is. But there has been one for the past 6 years I have been dedicated to. I have actually fractured the law to make it home on time, panicked when I didn't set the DVR and gotten mad when I had to answer the phone while it was on. Lost has finally come to an end though.

The show was such a mystery and made you think about what was going on. Sometimes it was left up to you to interpret what was happening and even since the finale I am still explaining to myself what happened.

I know this sounds extremely corny but I cried through the entire 2 1/2 hour finale and felt peace at the end. The show ended with them all dying and going to their eternity together. Not like you think though. You have to see it to understand. This gang rush into heaven brought this overwhelming feeling over me of emotions. Almost satisfaction I have needed since losing some from my past and wondering if they are waiting on me to enter at the same time with them.

Even though there was greed, disappointment, betrayal, hatred and murder that happened on the island there was forgiveness and peace among them all in the end. The characters laughed and smiled when they realized that they were going home. Home being the eternity that was waiting for them not back to their everyday lives where they were miserable. They were no longer lost.

I do believe in forgiveness and second chances. I do believe that the decisions you make here will determine your home in the end. I just hope it is a big reunion with the ones gone before me and I am able to wait on the ones after me to blow the doors off of eternity and let everyone know the ORS has made it. I am not right about everything but there are some things I really want to be right about

Here are just a handful of rock songs with heaven in the title. I am sure there are tons more but these stuck out at me. Just because they are listed here doesn't mean they are all about heaven but like Lost they can be interpreted the way you want it to. According to my mom all songs are about drugs so I guess heaven could be a high too. Its all in you. Not what someone tells you to think or believe.

Heaven for Everyone -Queen
Heaven-The Talking Heads
Tears in Heaven- Eric Clapton
Stairway to Heaven-Led Zeppelin

There are several rock songs about the "high" -My fav is Where the Streets Have No Name. You may thank me for the jam...Until then.

Keep Rockin

It's really amazing how much music is written around the spiritual experience. (Especially U2's tunes) Love this blog entry!

  2. It seems like a lot of musicians pay their dues to spiritual guidance throughout their career. I think we all do
