Saturday mornings brings the weekly trip to Wal-Mart. Well it seems like I go daily but this is the big trip. If I can catch it at the right time of day I can carry my youngest with me without screaming, crying, and/or formal apologies to Sam himself.
Today was a good day but not for the lady in front of me in line. The longest line ever. Her kids were screaming and acting crazy. The kind of kids you say to yourself if that was mine...but if you have been there your thinking poor lady. Inside I was shaking my head thinking, "I feel you honey. I have been there and still am sometimes."
Waiting and waiting for the slowest cashier in AMERICA the line slowly moved forward and as she finished putting her groceries on the counter she reaches over and slipped in a Symphony bar. She carefully hid it under a loaf of bread.
Now obviously a Symphony is not a kid or hubby candy bar, so I was assuming it was for her. I could imagine her, after the kids are in bed, relaxing while enjoying her hidden little treasure. Almost a perfect commercial.
There has always been this thing with women and chocolate. I actually read somewhere they think it may lower your blood pressure. So way to go lady! I am really happy that you have found a way to relax or at least I want to believe that is what you are doing. So grab a candy bar today and relax.
Here's a song about candy for all you chocoholics...Until then
Keep Rockin
