My name is Brandy. I will be your guide. I am also a people watcher, day dreamer, artist, flexitarian, guerilla artist, Sweet Potato Queen, music lover, member of the Metal Pounders Union, and photographer.

I absolutely love my job and the opportunities I have to meet the people that I do.

No Phone Zone

Oprah asked me (well everyone) to sign a no phone zone petition. You can find the petition on her website http://www.oprah.com/. Anyway I signed it so if you call me or text me and I don't answer I am in the truck! I started thinking about other distractions, at least for me. Here they are in no particular order except for #1.

#1 Cameron-my 3 year old
#2 Trying to find number 14 on my Beatles CD
#3 Rubbernecking
#4 An open field that may have geese, turkeys or deer in it
#5 Anything with sirens or lights on top of it (esp when they are behind me)
#6 Finding an alleyway or landscape I hadn't seen before
#7 My mind starts wandering

Anyway I commend Oprah for making us all think aboout concentrating on the road instead of texting or dialing someone, but I am pretty sure I was dangerous this morning...Until then
